Using the Orton-Gillingham approach, Dawn provides individualized, multisensory literacy instruction designed to help students become confident and successful readers and writers. Each tutoring session is carefully planned to meet the unique needs of the learner through explicit, systematic, and diagnostic teaching grounded in the science of reading. Instruction targets foundational literacy skills including phonemic awareness, decoding, encoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension while building confidence and independence.

 

Lessons are engaging, structured, and paced to support students with dyslexia, language-based learning differences, and other struggling readers. With a supportive and personalized approach, Dawn partners with families and students to create meaningful progress, strengthen literacy skills, and foster a positive learning experience.
